Auri watched as Ozai walked off, and sort of felt bad for him. Well, if it wasn't for all the fire and lightning and yelling he might even be nice... Might... She hesitated going back to the house, but that wouldn't be fun, actually now that she thought about it, neither would getting fire blasted. Mentaly shrugging she desided to follow him, I mean what else was there to do. He wasn't that far but she desided to keep her distance for now. "Are you still mad at me? Because I really am sorry..." she tilted her head but she couldn't see his face. He was probably still angry, which was starting to make her feel guilty. Against her better judgement she inched closer. She never really got to talk to people her age much so when she hurt someone's feelings or made them angry she took it very personaly.

Ozai shook his head, breathing out again before looking up at the girl. He observed her for a moment, noting that in her eyes she was geniuenly sorry, "No, I'm not mad at you anymore. I'm mad at OTHER people." he shifted his eyes to glare at the Yuma girl. He switched his gaze back at her, his teenage hormones noticing that she was very pretty. Curse them!
"So..... um.... who are you?" it wasn't as smooth as he wanted it to be but at least it covered his previous thoughts up.

Auri sighed in relief. She hated when she bothered people. So he was angry at that other girl now... She nodded, she could understand why he was angry but he sort of overreacted. "Um, my name is Auri Zonli, I'm here on vacation but I haven't really.. done anything yet..." she had just gotten here yesterday so this was the first thing that had happened so far.

Ozai shrugged, "I train through the day so I haven't done anything else either." Deep in his mind, the prince wondered why he was holding a conversation with this girl. Had he truly stooped so low?
The Prince looked out over the water, "I wouldn't call this a vacation for me though, mostly its just my parents getting me out of the way."

"Oh..." she sighed looking down. "My parents never leave me alone. Its a wonder I was allowed to leave the house today." She kicked a small rock and wondered if her parents didn't care about her would she want them to. "It always seems like we want what we don't have. Like if its cold and you want it to be hot, but then when its hot you want it to cooler." But maybe he didn't understand, she had always wanted to talk to someone her age, and see if they had the same ideas. She would never talk to her parents, they didn't care about what she thought. All they wanted her to do was grow up and be just like them. "I don't care what my parents think about me." she muttered, mostly to herself.

Ozai snorted, "I never said I wanted their approval!" he snapped. "They've never cared about me anyway; I've learned to live on my own without anyones help!" The prince crossed his arms, scrowling slightly, "They only care about my older brother because he's the crown prince. They don't care if I lived or died."
It was true, his parents pushed him off to the side since he was born. It didn't matter though, he learned to do without his approvel.

Auri looked down. "I was talking about myself actually." she said, not meaning to offend him. "And, I'm sorry..." she sighed and flopped down onto ground, obvously not making the impression she wanted. "So, would you mind if I stayed for a while? I wouldn't bother you and I could watch you firebend..." She said, trying to change the subject. Yeah... this was going to be long day...

Ozai hesitated; did he really want someone to watche him? Shrugging to her, he decided it didn't matter. Calmly, he started to practice some simple firebending moves before going more advanced.
This was how Ozai practiced every day. He didn't bother to try lightning again. That was something that one had to be comepletely calm for.
